    Saturday @ Hinze..

Headed out yesterday for my first real crack at the Hinze Bass with my mate Lee. Got on the water about 6am in the eastern arm spend a few hours fishing the points & bays with hits & dropped fish when i finally got my first Hinze Bass. It was followed up with Lee's first as well. I picked my second up on a spinnerbait which was nice way to break the new combo in. We fished until about 1pm with a total of 3 fish between 30-33cm not much size but still fun. We had alot fish hit the lures, take big runs but throw the hooks which was annoying but we learnt alot from our time on the water & it was a quite enjoyable day..

Yes your Jackall collection is now 3 jackals lighter ha ha ha

Thanks for the day out and I really enjoyed my first trip on Hinze and at least we were getting bites and got fish for our first trip on the dam.

If only those last 2 fish had stuck

There is always next time and maybe a few kg's less of drag might see them hook up

    Cheers

    Noob . Haha, boat looks good Simon. I can't see 2 fish being a substantial break-in .

2 fish being a substantial break-in... I think thats plenty given the circumstances

You got to stop working at BCF and get out with us on weekends

Personally I think fishing a brand new waterway, in a brand new boat and having absolutly no idea how and where to fish the new waterway and then actually boating a few fish and dropping a heap of fish is a pretty successful day in my book so well done mate.

Simon mate hats off to you, because also being a boat owner, I understand how much more effort goes into being on the water and fishing then just tagging along for the day.

How many fish were boated at Big W the first time it was fished? Its all a learning curve and everytime on the wter should be treated as such, thats how poeple learn how things

    Cheers

The Lowrance is a great unit but i do like my humminbirds for there ease of use & screen speed but at the price you can get a lowrance i doubt i will go back to a humminbird..
