Have been up at Bribie all day fishing and the wind was getting fairly strong up there, was wondering if anybody who went outside at the Gold Coast today can give a report???
Notice they have up'ed the weather conditions for tomorrow to 2.2m with 20-25kn from SE which sounds to me a little on the rough side.
I noticed that the wind has been up-graded

I was at the seaway at 6.am, was very lumpy, wind was up, a bit of white water breaking across the entrance. Too rough for me and my boats 6.2 metres. Saw 2 boats go out and come back in 10 minutes later. Saw a couple of Blackwatches head out. So much for the 10 to 15 knots!!!
Yep everybody got it WRONG!!!... was bordering on dangerous around the tweed reefs

the GFS model had it right and has been spot on with the last couple months patterns, the BOM map was totally different and has been consistently out of whack, seems the bom dont use both computer models. And i still cant work out what seabreeze use, suspect its the BOM model.

Also know what your saying about seabreeze, they say NE and the wind will be SE. One day they might stop using a dart board and use a computer.
