has any one fished moogerah is the past week? I'v been fishing hinze heaps and am keen for a change of scenery. is there any gates or can you fish first light?. any help would be greatly appreciated

Hi Shane

Haven't fished Moogerah since the rains but have been out there and should be worth a try.

Come in from Beaudesert - Boonah if your coming from the Brisbane or gold coast side and just follow the signs to lake Moogerah. When you get to Boonah don't turn right at the roundabout with the Moogerah sign. Go straight through town and out to the Mt Alford/Moogerah sign and turn right. This will eventually bring you to the turnoff and into the caravan park. There is a good concrete ramp on this side.

Just to add there is no restrictions on entry to Moogerah 24/7 access.
I haven't fished it since October so can't help with advice. As posted elsewhere and earlier there has been a big rise in water level from 3% to 4%.
