The person who said this is on your side Kev, no matter how tongue in cheek it was, a ridiculous statement is a ridiculous statement.

Fact is, environmental issues aren't going away any time soon. I'm trying to be devil's advocate as I have an interest in both rec fishing and the environment. And I feel that all rec fishers should be more green than not. I stand corrected though, given the pasting I have received. Its interesting times indeed. Lets see how ausfishers react when the snapper bag limit goes to 2 fish above 45cm because they're overfished by rec fishers! Then we may see some concessions for MPA's - or maybe not? Who knows? Time will tell.

    Good fishing to you all!

I said it lefty and theonly side I am on is mine...you may think it a ridiculous statement but no more ridiculous than some boofhead from some green mob saying they need green zones to protect dugongs from boat strikes..now that is ridiculous.

Nah don't ban him, he is sterotypical of what we are all up against, ears and eyes closed with 0 to offer in any counter argument but rhetoric.

Some people can argue for and follow any dogma without knowing anything of substace to justify their beliefs, he is a great token for what is wrong with our society.

So much environmental good could be done easily but some choose to fight for dare I say it....evil!!! Harks directly back to my first post in this thread.

    Cheers fnq

Thank f***. Seems I gave you more credibility than you are entitled to. Two identities? Now why would that be?

I just wish there was as much scientific consensus on the causes of the ice ages over the last 60 000 years as there is over the current warming, er, cooling, er flood, er, drought, aha!!! climate change.

And in case there is any doubt, the ice age 60 000+- years ago apparently put one MILE of ice over Birmingham in England.
