Its been a while since last time i went for a fish so i decided to head out for a jack or 2 went for a jig at a local spot for some jacks only managed to small ones that were tossed back like always, mate of mine lost a monster at the surface decided to hit up spotxxxxx thats a bit of a drive when we got there tide looked good pumping hard alot of sureface atcion first cast with the 2 inch slider hooked a monster giant herring that was 92cm in lenght hooked a few more but were lost.

Nice fish JE, those jacks are a bit small compared to what you normally get, do you seem to get the better fish early in the season?
yeah those ones were piss cuters nah i get the big ones all summer but i have just been lazy and going out too much, to think about fishing, i am going to start fishing for the red ones more now before summer is over.

Yep nice herring. At that size and larger they are truly fast, powerful, acrobatic sportfish at their best. Congrats. Ben
