I am after thhe results from the Riviera light Tackle Masters. I am heading out off the Goldie this weekend for some trolling and I would like to know where the action was and whether the small blacks have turnned up yet. Thanks.

"The underlying spirit of angling is that the skill of the angler is pitted against the instinct and strength of the fish and the latter is entitled to an even chance for it's life."
(Quotation from the rules of the Tuna Club Avalon, Santa Catalina, U.S.A.)
Apathy is the enemy
The action is out wide and they still haven't turned up in any numbers. 18 tagged Marlin between 56 boat fishing 3 days each. Pretty grim. Some reasonable quality vermin mixed in with them, Wahoo in the 12-21kg range, Mahi Mahi to 13kg and lots of Yellowfin Tuna to 12kg.
Reel Deal a 37' Riv won with two tagged Marlin and pile of weighed other species. They were just in front of Freelance the new red 48' Express Riv with a similar catch. Pacemaker the 30' Pleysier was next also on two tagged Marlin plus vermin from Watchdog the 34' Deep V from Maverick the towered 36' Riv that John Palermo was driving for the weekend and all of these boats tagged two each. That only left 8 fish shared amongst the rest of the fleet. Ian (Finding Time) and Daniel Smith (Acehigh) from on here won the under 8.0m section with a tagged Black and some weighed other species aboard Ian's 5.2m Kevlacat Shikaree. Brooksy was aboard two of thier days and Lee Bradford (Serial Fisher) one as well. They also tagged the first Marlin of the tournament. Fair Game the 36' Black Watch tagged the last and Monroe Howser was the angler. The heaviest other gamefish went to Freelance with their 20.5kg Wahoo.
More important is roota's black rat tally
I don't think Leanne will let me hang around with Mark anymore. Or should I be worried about Leanne hanging around with Mark
As long as there was no cut off jeans flying from the outrigger it is sweet
