Solid effort there mate. You would have to be one of the keener anglers on here.

Just making the most of it before going back to work??? Or just mad as a cut snake mate?

    Gday dbl,

Good to see you got a nice feed. Didn't think you must of got out cause I didn't hear from you. Just as well cause I would have sent you in the other direction. We worked hard all day for the fish that we got. For some reson I dropped more fish than I caught, bloody terrible considering I haven't dropped a fish for yonks. They just musn't have been hungry enough but thats fishing for you. We'll have to catch up some time and have a sesh. Its damn fine out there when theres no kids to ask questions every minute of the day. You gotta love them but its good to have some piece and quiet on the odd occassion.

    Cheers

Don, great mixed bag. Nice flathead, did you find some sand??????? I bet you were pleased to have such great conditions. When you say the northern end of the banks, how far north( roughly) were you from where we say each other a few Sundays ago?

the spot i was is 25nm(45ks) off mooloolaba so i'd say about another 15 mile out from where you were the udda w/end... gunna hit that spot you gave me next trip weather permitting... did you get out over the w/end?

    Hey Deadbeatloser,
Are you sure thats a yellowtail kingfish? It looks more like a rainbow runner - Maybe, my eyes are playing tricks on me.
Anyone else out there think its a rainbow runner-or am I losing the plot?
    Cheers Steve99
