    im pretty sure ............
    just had a look in the id book and description , streamlined , deep blue along the back hint of green where blue merges with rich gold band that separates the dark back from the silvery belly dorsal n pectoral fins are grey-blue pelvic n analfins yellowish and mouth full of small teeth.

    sounds like the fish i got so i dont know , im up for suggestions?

    Yep its a rainbow runner. Top catch . I've got three weeks off now so am keen to get out there. Have to pick my days though because of my small boat. Ben

    what a mad looking catch you have there mate well done , dont those jacks go of weve caught a few off fraser around the 5-10 kg and ive herd of jacks up to16kg up there wouldnt that be nice ?
    Not trying to be picky but gee that really looks like a rainbow runner , the nose is pointy and the tail is to long and thinish to be a yellow tail king for mine anyway like i said mad mixed bag
