River mouth rock wall saturday am

Got up at 4 am for a quick flick on the rock wall facing st hellena and not evan a touch. All the boys tell me its better in the morning but not evan a touch had me wishen i had gone friday at dusk. I then came in to fish every square inch back to the boat ramp and nothing. So much weed and the dirtiest water ever. This rain has certainely changed the movements of the fish or am i the only one out there loosing fish to the dirty weedy water. A few weeks ago i puller about 15 cod from the same wall and let go in the same area. Used hardbodies and plastics. Cant wait until the water clears up and the fish come back into the waterways.

Mate that must be dirty water from the wind conditions in the bay because water isn't bad up around the gateway bridge . Clarity is quiet good and no real run off.
Water is clear enough to sight bream in shallow water and cast. Young chris was walking a few surface h.B.s and we could watch his followers behind the lures

Chief i went up that way last night after your tip of on your post but probably not as far up as you because it was still dirty as. Only getting hits and then loosing them in the muddy water. What size leader are you using in the river ? I am on 10 pound due to the monsters in there and the merky water they wont see but we use 4 pound in clear water but it doesnt hold up to the snags as well. I am not chasing brim hard until i set up my leccy but waiting on a battery budget.

Thanks chief i have got 6 pound in the boat so will try it and go up further to the gateway and see if i get more than 3 inches of visability in the water. PS I always see big fish on the sounder in the deeper chanels while moving to places. I wonder if they are thready,s, snapper or big jewy,s. Have you pulled any of them up yet to see.

Chief i went right under the gateway and still dirty as. Only clear on the rock walls for 1lm and then muddy. Had a mate on board and he caught 8 brim small and on 2" nuclear chicken swirly tails and let the line back once he got hit and dropped 2 flatty. I have never seen any flatty get of with there eating style. PS Used my leccy for the first time and it was great but 20 notts is hard to keep a straight line. I will keep trying that area to see what comes up. Are you getting good snapper up that far under bridge because my sounder had some big fish. Stayed out until 10.30 and not one keeper for me.
