Wouldn't have it any other way though, it means that as long as I can hold a rod I reckon I'll have someone to drive the boat

Re the boat though - I've always wanted a Hornet since around 2000, we were living on the Hawkesbury river at the time and I figured it was just the ticket for exploring (and yep the explorer is a nice boat too) and chasing bream around the oyster racks, and jewies around the bridge pylons.

I'm glad I had to wait as now I get to chase Barra in it and it doesn't get better than that!

Hmm sounds like a tough trip for me on the weekend then. I am only in a Hyundai Accent and heading to Lenthalls for four days. Lucky my mates have 4wds. I guess I'll just take it real slow.....

If the accent hasn't got a lift kit,I'd take it real slow.Two weeks ago the young bloke went out towing his boat behind suzi sierra took him 30mins from the hwy to the dam.Better take a packed lunch Dunks.

Was up there a few weeks ago, just after the rain, and the road was crap. Apparently some knobheads where out there seeing how much mud they could get on their 4wd's. Typical. Didn't have any problems towing in with the 4wd Triton. Just took it slow. We allowed plenty of time and still got there berfore the ranger was there to let us in.
