Noosa River

Greetings all,

Next week I am lucky enough to be heading up to my favourite place, Noosa.
Can anyone advise me on what is on the bite and where abouts in the river. I know of a few places in the lower reaches from landbased fishing there in the past few years. . . but have the boat now and will be looking to explore a bit more too.

I am very keen to get some fish on the surface and fly rod, and more so my mates first surface lure caught fish.

Of course will go have a chat at the local tackle stores to see what info I can get out of them.

Sadly not much happening.....1000 catfish and some bull sharks.
Of course plenty of bream too.

Alot of fresh and the river is filthy.
