    Bassssss

Had a quick flick this afternoon. Braved the weather and fished my mates spot. Bass, bass and more bass. Between us we probably landed over 50 fish. The biggest only being about the 30cm mark but great fun on light string.
Mainly fishing small hard bodies but on dusk threw poppers with good success.
They were really fired up, smacking the popper up to 5 times

Ask Matt, he would be able to quote names better, pretty much anything. Small shallow running hardbodys, like sx40's.
I was using a Stiffy Popper untill I lost it

Hinze still open access is via little nerang road at mudgeerba or nerang murwillimbah road aprox 11 ks past turn off to old ramp. little dirt track 1 k past arkinstalls gully parking a bit restricted at both ramps please dont park in turning areas.

    Re: Bassssss

I reckon you need to fish bass on the light string to get the best & the most enjoyment out of them ..... Catching them on 6 or even 4lb braid is an absolute blast !
Tossing $20-$30 lures on 4lb .... well thats another story Nagg

    Re: Bassssss

Ha ha, keep the $20 lures locked up.
Just got myself some 6lbs Crystal and some of those Eco Gear knock offs, Kokoda Sprogs $6.50 at BCF. Not so painful loosing them

Yeah, How good do they look for the money. I got 5 of them a few weeks back, still haven't tried them though.

Let us know how they go.

Sprogs go pretty good around the oyster racks for bream .... Ya just need to spend half the cost of the lure to upgrade the trebles Nagg

    Re: Bassssss

the sprogs were nailing the fish as well as anything, and i mean anything, that hit the water.

    cheers matt
