    wet exhaust

    I've got a small leak in the silencer of my exhaust it's a stainless cylinder about a foot in diameter and maybe 2.5 feet long. The engine is a 4cyl ford lehman, does the waterlock in the attached do the same job? I was quoted about 1k for a new stainless one which seems a bit excessive.

    Not sure about welding as I'm guessing it's the same age as the boat (25 years) and looks to have had a couple of repairs already.
