Down the North coast of NSW there's water lying everywhere with a distinct mud smell in the air in Lismore and surrounds.
Scott - gotta love that smell mate. Brings back such memories of a young boy growing up in a town where two people spit in the street and the levy banks go..!

The old times of washing down my Dad's Panel shop, clearing out the dead carp and snakes, the mud 2 foot thick around the floorboards, driving the cars back into the shop in various states of repair as an 8yr old from up the hill 2ks away. You don't get that childhood anymore.

Can we pass that off as Seagrass now?? Close parts of the unproductive banks which had grass all over them instead of the Bay?

Well it seems that the rain has stopped in TSV for now and Ross River dam is 58cm from the top of the spillway (85% full)
Any fishing is good fishing (should probably say Any fishing is...probably going to be illegal soon)
