hi all happy new year . has any one fished at st. helens queensland . if so how much is marine park . i dont think there is a caravan park but is there any other acomadation. thanks folks.

the off shore game capital of Tassie
Striped marlin,yellow,blue fin tuna,big albys,kingies,mako,blues etc
East aust current flows past over the summer months bringing the above species into our colder climes and dont we love it.

If you mean St Helen's north of Mackay there is a camping area/caravan park but no facillities. We looked at it but did not stay to try the fishing. Zoning maps should show green areas.

I fish in the st helens area, mainly the creeks and close inshore islands,the is a rough camp site right on beach front,toilet block and showers there I think,I think there is also accommodation cabin at kolijo caravan park about 15 min back from beach on the highway and also calen hotel 2min up the rd from kolijo cheers Yamp
