    mariner 85

    hi how can i find out the year of my motor no 4811401,
    also i do i re fill the hydrolic trim and tilt

    If it's the old in line 4 cycle then it around the 1977-78 vintage. My father had one for nearly 15 years. It's just a Mercury with different paint work.

    From memory the trim motor is separate to the motor and uses auto transmission fluid.
