Darwin inJune/July?
G'day all,
The wife and I are starting to plan a trip to Darwin at the end of June to the middle of July. We are going to the V8's & while we are there and will be doing some fishing. I will be land based and have access to a car while I'm there (if I can get the keys off dad).
I will be taking as many rods that I can get onto the plane some H.Bs. and some metal lures aswell with me so what should I be chasing at this time of year?
Last time I was up there I fished the bridge at the Channel Islands aswell as Cullen Bay rock wall both without any luck.
I don't care If I get a fish or not but would like to be in with a chanch.
I know it will be the dry season but if all you local blokes could just give me an idea what to chase I would be greatfull
Thanks

G'day mate, suggest you have a day out with this charter. They supply all gear

Also, have a look at Lee Point, north of the city.

Mate one of this months fishing mags has an article on spots to fish around darwin. I think the article is titled "darwin on a budget" and is specifically aimed at land based anglers chasing queenies, pelagics, trevs and watnot.
goodluck, i think thats when me and my dad are planning out first trip up there
