    Same here. However, my boat's running costs are very modest so it is a bit of a non issue.

    'Tis interesting how people who do come with me seem to have a wonderful time - even much better than on their own bigger boats - you can get more intimate with the sea in a small boat.

      The UK gallon is 4.546092 Litres * 44 = 200.028

      Still nowhere near 210-215.

        The dirtbike industry went through a similar stage with the release of the modern high performance 4 strokes. The end result was some bikes that need valve adjustments, oil and filter changes every 15 hours, and even some that recomend a new piston/ring at 15 hours. Performance, be it in terms of HP or terms of fuel ecomony comes at a price.
