    Re: RAIN

    Bill,

I think the only winner in all this rain was my local tackle shop as I kept thinking of things I wanted (in the RAIN) did get out last Sunday but it was no where near my plans, like yours, of going ever second or third day.

On the bright side I didn't get divorced for fishing all the time once I finally took a holiday.

Everybody pray for sunshine and 5knot southeasters!!!!

    Cheers,

    Re: RAIN

My work "encourages " me to take holidays at Christmas time, even though I was due for a holiday in August.... So we had planned a week of camping..... in Ballina.... when the low decided to move down that way.

I discovered that tents these days can nearly double as a floating pontoon, staying remarkably dry, despite the 150mm of rain that fell per night. But we have had enough of Mud and indoor games like pictionary and Nintendo DS.

No complaints, we can have both rain and water restrictions and still live harmoniously, so long as we get an occasional break in the weather.
