    Yep

    You could be right Cheech

That would explane the number of Queenslanders that got the nod for the Team

Oh and that bloke that played all his time in England, now that was a smart move

Be good to see you in october.

    Phil, Roz, Anyone?????
I am led to believe that the setup/rules for the cookoff this year have changed is that correct?
If so, can someone who is apparently in control, let us wannbe chefs know what is happenin. I understand that Roz shows no imagination and cooks the same thing year in year out but some of us budding cordonbleu of the M&G need time to prepare and scheme and stuff. SO OUT WITH IT. Whats happenin?

At this stage we DO NOT need comments from the peanut gallery thanks. This is serious business.

I am even considering making 2 dishes this year. That will throw a cat among the pigeons. MEOW.
I CAME INTO THIS WORLD KICKING, SCREAMING AND COVERED IN SOMEONE ELSES BLOOD. I HAVE NO PROBLEM GOING OUT THE SAME WAY.

    Newby,
No major changes to the rules, and you are included, it would not be the same with out one of your contributions to the cook off. After all we need some bland over cooked mussels or something to get every ones palettes right so they can appreciate some real food and skills.
Why stop at 2 dishes, why not cook 10, odds are you’ll get one that will be close to something eatable.
Just jokes mate, we are keeping the numbers to 5 I think so we don’t end up with a huge mess, and the finer points of the comp will be sorted later.
Look forward to tasting one of your dishes as I haven’t eaten tinned food for while.
    Cheers,
    Chong

I think its limited to 4 ( maybe 5) , the changes are more to the judging

    This fine lot:

Roz : top dish, enough said
Aigutso : was unlucky with his chilli, will add more this year
Chong : unlucky with his dish, you wont run out this year will you mate

and a long way back bringing up the rear

    Newbs:

Newbs, i'll bring a can opener for you mate, always happy to help a fellow competitor, no worries

    Cheers

OOOO you nasty bunch of ferets.... Wait til I tell Gordon what you've been saying !!!!!!

    No worries Newbs,

There will be 4 competitors in the official Cook_Off at Roz's place on the Saturday Night.

The night will kick off earlier than last year, with hopefully the first morsels being bandied around at about 7pm.

I will take charge of the event, BUT, the judging will be offloaded to a panel of impartial people ( experts ) and each dish will be judged on it's merits immediately after the consuming of That dish.

You will have to contact Roz in respect of what type of cooking equipment you'll need as well as preparation time and cooking time.... deciding on who goes first, second third and forth will be determined by Roz.

Might see you on the 8th June... Newbs

    cheers Phill
