    Yep,

Will be Bass, Golden Perch, Saratoga, Mary River Cod & possibly Snub Nosed Gar.

Anyone who is interested in becoming involved with this great program can join the Pine River Fish Stocking Assn. Lots to learn, lots to do & a great bunch of people.
Post up here if interested in getting involved or call the PRFMA mobile number 0417742023

    Cheers,

now all it needs is civalised boating access.

The only impoundment I know off where a high powered V8 speedboat is welcome and a canoe with a lecky isn't.

Good to hear its open for fishing now. cheers

Our youngest member is Raymond who you can see in the photo standing off to the left and we would be glad of your help. In fact we have to do junior fishing clinics this friday the 18th and saturday the 19th followed by doing support clinics at the Australia day Lions Family Fishing Day so your help would be handy. I'll pm John Fitz's mobile to you he is the assoc president. Good on you for standing up and being counted.

A few of us are also helping out Blue Fin with a clinic on Kurwongbah in February, followed by another clinic around may/june. We also need to line catch almost a thousand gar over the next couple of months to relocate to Kurwongbah. In amongst all that we will have to attend and staff quite a few fish releases. There are a few other bits and pieces to be done if you are keen enough.

You guys couldnt of picked a better hatchery to get your fingerlings from either...Gwen always delivers high quality fingerlings. The ABA dumped 30,000 Bass fingerlings into a location yesterday with all the fish coming from Gwen. The fish were in an awesome condition.

That looks great - good work. I don't live too fr from Kurwongbah and have always intended getting on. I thought Kurwongbah was already stocked - or am I getting confused with North Pine Dam - are they different?

Is it serious that motor boats are allowed on Kurwonbah. On North Pine it is only electrics isn't it and don't you have to pay some sort of yearly permit. What is the story with Kurwongbah? Where are you catching the gar from for the realease - North Pine?
