    Talking bream and muddie in the Pine

    went out monday morning early 4am. in at doles and up into bald hills.
    got 4 good bream and 4 muddies. 3 of the crabs were jennys and and we caught 3 crabs on the lines!!! couldnt believe it. got the bream on mullet and also got 4 pike eels. toothy bastards...

    going out tonight for jack and muddies will post on efforts.

    nice.. Is that up along bald hills Rd. I was up that way week ago and got a similar haul bar the eels
    and only 1 muddies


    How long did you soak your pots for?

    Fantastic. Does that mean that the "fresh" has gone or is the water still like chocolate?

    i was up there with noddy on wednesday night, we only got one bream and another big muddy, better if we could get more than one a trip!!! muddies that is!
    river still looks fresh, has that choco brown colour, but farked if im tasting it!

    the crabes are there just got to do a bit of walking got 4 keepers in 2 pots the other day,well worth the effort .

    you didnt have some orange pots tied to mangroves up there did you, cos they were high and dry until about half tide......thought i'd mention it as they looked brand new.....didnt want them going missing. they were tied to mangroves wit plenty of rope, but i think thats as far as they could have been thrown!!!
    work on 4 muddies though, impressive!
