    Smith BF8000 reel?

Jan Bush n Beach page 22 talks about this as a new type of baitrunner.

A baitrunner in 8000 size sounds interesting, especially if it is reasonably robust.

Googled them with no luck - anyone know where to get them/find out more about them?

They are a new reel made for Brad Smith.
He's done a fair bit of R&R before manufacturing it so as to not head down the same path as some other fly by nighters.
Keep an eye out in Bush n beach over the next few months for more info on his new range.
