Thread: Replacing Trailer Rollers

    Re: Replacing Trailer Rollers

I tried doing that, I even clamped on a pair lock-on multigrips onto the clamp for extra leverage. I'm sure it is due to spots of surface rust on the pistons. I sanded the pistons as well as I could with extremely fine grit wetndry to rectify the problem with no success.

Hell they should go back in with all that pressure unless you didn't bleed the brake line, and i'm sure you did that. Didn't you ?

I even removed the caliper from the trailer to try. Still no luck hence the reason for the overhaul. If I knew the model I could go and get an exchange pair, but unfortunately I don’t and there are no details on the calipers.

So I guess the old pads go back in do they ?
Just wondering if the replacement pads you bought have way to much meat on them.
