Lamiglas Tropic Pro Jigging Rod

Hello Guys,

Do you know about the Lamiglas Tropic Pro Jigging Rod : Model TP 5650 SJ ?
Lenght : 1.65m - Line Wt 50lb - jig Wt 150/450g

Is anyone out there using it ? Are you satisfied ?

I've heard it's quite a good jigging rod at a fair price ($240 USD), but I'd like some feedback before bying it....

I have two Lamiglas rods (imported from US) and imo they are very very good, but having said that they are not as crisp as say Hastings, and not as light (boat rod series) as top shelf jap rods. From what I know the jigging series was developed by a spanish jigging specialist (caranx.net) and is not distributed in Australia, so you'll be really lucky if you can get any feedback locally... But hey, if you get it you can be the first to let us know how good it is!

Thanks Metaloid ! Yeah I've seen them on Caranx.net and I've been asking people from around the world on different forums (France, Australia, South America) what they think about it.... I have a very tight budget and I don't want to make a mistake...LOL

Can you be a little more specific (ie. where, what series)?

Last time I asked my local shop they only just started selling the bass rods and hadn't even heard about the triflex series being distributed, let alone the caranx jigging rods!

Yes all rods are available triflex are awesome, jigging sticks are also very nice, our bream and bass are obviously our targeted market but we also have all the blanks etc all on the website.pm me for further details or you can look on the US lamiglas site and click on overseas distributors, otherwise I will give you the www .cheers IAN
