cabbige tree creek
Went for a fish late 2nights ago for some crab bait for our baffle creek trip , we got some mullet and a handfull of nice prawns , so we went to the co-op and sat undereth it to get out of the rain/wind and used the live prawns and caught a few average sized bream when the rain stoped we threw the net out the front of the co-op and first throw got a nice flathead 70cm (to bad it wasnt caught on a line as it would have put up a nice fight ) heres some pics .

Bit big for livebait, bet ya knew he was in the net, had the same happen to me 1 time but it was a big estuary cod messed the net a bit though. Still good catch no matter how you caught it

Saw a bloke throw his cast net over a 55cm Queenie of a jetty in the Whitsundays!
He got the fish in the end as it all tangled up, but it sure destoyed the net!
Cheers
