Thread: Jump in fuel prices

    Re: Jump in fuel prices

Seems That I May Recoup The Extra Cost Of My Etec A Bit Quicker,(given Its Great Economy) Than I Expected To! I Spose It Pays To Have A Good Swag Of Deckies Who Are Willing To Kick In For The Motion Lotion On Every Trip. Will Still Go Out And Catch Fish.
    Cheers, Geoff

Same fellas, will still go out wide, just means trying harder to bring a feed home, always go out with a deckie. Means instead of $60 each for a overnighter it will be $70. Enjoy our fishing not to go out. Polky.

    Re: Jump in fuel prices

Won't bother me toooo much. The 50hp 4stroke is pretty frugal and I don't travel far anyway. I think I've only put fuel in the boat 5or 6 times in the 12 months I've had it (kind of depressing now I think about it).
The 5 litre bucket-O-bolts I tow the boat with is another story however.

    Re: Jump in fuel prices

I already have been paying $1.50 a liter for last couple of months...so i hate to think what it will be here...

Makes no difference really though...I enjoy fishing too much to let a little bit of extra fuel cost worry me...and i have the advantage to carry 10 fishing buddies to share costs if need be
