i hit noosa again in the rain and wind but it was not all that bad when the bream started to go off there heads, it was crazy, i was getting a bream on nearly every cast, i got no idear how many i got but it was the most iv ever caught. the hard bodys where working a treat but i loose 2 lures to big bream well in the 40's.(they stole my reble wee craw and a smith still that was working verry well) the biggest i landed was 35cm to the fork.

mate iv been kicken ass these last couple of days and not posting about it as the fishing has been just to good. and not just in noosa it's been all over the coast 4 me just cleaning up with huge numbers of bream hehe.

Just wondered wat a giant carp gudgeon was? Its not one of them quere rowers gettin arond up that way is it?

hey Nugg have you got any info on where the fish was origanally tagged yet. curious to find out. i caught a flattie few years back which was tagged ,didnt find it till scaling him. sent in details to sunfish and found out he was tagged in same creek 4years earlier and grown roughly 20cm i think it was. had a certificate somewhere for it. flathead are either lazy or he was happy with his home. caught him at duck crk at the pin which isnt a big creek at all. i was pretty amazed when i found out.

The bream seem to like these wheather conditions , those 40 plus bream ,there the ones that hit and you think this is a squire. Great work mate .looking foward to the pics of the kilo plus in the near future
