I couldn't go today due to baby sitting comitments.
I'm fishing next weekend with a mate from work. If any mad keen Jackall fisho's out there care to wager a 6 pac of Crownies against my 3D vibes let me know. I'm more interested than anything.

Make it a carton of crownies and you have yourself a deal.

Hi Steve, I knew you'd take the bait. I don't earn as much as you so the six pac still stands.

Now this sounds like an aoprtunity for some serious science

There are so many lipless crannk baits out there at such a wild price range.

I've got some cheapies from @mart for $2.50, picked up some of the berkly items for $4.50 off ebay, and the prices go up from there.

BCF have a pack of 5 gillies like the poppers for about $15 at the moments too.

Sorry I cant comment on evffectiveness as i've only got 1 wet so far & I wasnt expecting to catch anything....... but it swum well and cast PDW.

    was $2.50 cheapie.......

    cheers

Hey Mitch, Your not as confident as i expected,or are things a bit tough in the Calcutt household.
I thought you would jump at the opportunity the score yourself an easy carton of crown lager.
It sounds to me like the misses has put the squeeze on you !!!!

Thanks Bron, I am more interested than anything to see if two or more people fishing the same water with similar lures can have a different result. any difference will certainly come from the fishing style. Steve in case you didn't know I don't drink at all anymore.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Caleb I contacted GCCC when my annual Hinze permit was up for renewal in October and already having a SIP didn't want to waste money for nothing.

Received a reply from GC Water saying nothing was being changed and old system to still apply after the Qld govt takes control of the dam.

Also said eastern and western ramps were to be upgraded about mid 08 because of the loss of the 2 ramps near the wall during the dam raising work

    Hope that helps mate
    Regards
