New Year Bass!!!!!

Hey Everyone,
I went to my mate's private dam today in search of my first Australian Bass for 2008..... We started to use loud lures today E.G Spinnerbait' and Jackall's due to the Water clarity after all this beautiful rain. After 5 mins of casting i got a Nice Bass of 45cm to the fork on a Aussie shrimp TN60 jackall and after intense casting we dcedied to have lunch .. W then went out again and i started with a 1/2oz Ausspin Spinnerbait and after a good hour casting i got a 44cm to the fork and i am glad i was using 16lb flouro leader as they Bss are so fat and agro P.S they are om some sort of steriods you would think haha .. we then decided to play monopoly and wait till the arvo for a surface bite .... I decided to put on my favourite bass surface lure the Zara Puppy in a custom purple nail polishh colour hahaha and in about one and a halfhours i got rewarded by a massive hit but unfortunately we had to go home ....
I have not been bass fishing in ages and its so great ..
what a way to start the new year..

Mate,
It was ridicoulious (spelling) today .. it was freezing cold bucketed rain and freeezing cold ... The fish are already wet ahah so doesnt bother them to much i was fishing on the sunny caost when the cyclone hit a few days back and even though it was waves in the canal and pi$$ing down rain i still got atleast 25 bbrteam and 4 flatties on hardbosy on the flats .. IT JUST PROOVES GO FISHING WHEN U CAN AND TAKE ADVANTAGE OF IT
