    Short or Long Shaft

    hi all, i dont know how to tell if you have a short shaft or long shaft (ENGINE that is people i already have long shaft LOL ).

    measure the transom from top to bottom of keel. 20 in transom short shaft, i think 26in up long shaft

    general rule of thumb is

    short=15 inch
    long= 20inch
    extra long =25 inch
