Garmin 250C

Hi All,
I have a Garmin 250C sounder, it is only 12months old and has been working fine up until the last two fishing trips.
It continually stays in simulator mode and when i try and turn the simulator mode off it shows a message that tranducer is not responding.
any suggestion to fixing this prob.

If i remember rightly those garmins go into sim mode if they don't detect the transducer...thats what your seeing.

Check the transducer plug and socket for corrosion...if its not that maybe the transducer is cactus.

I agree with seamonkey.
Could be either the connection,the wiring or the ducer itself.
I had a similar problem and a new ducer fixed it.
