    advice

Hi,We are new too the community (June2007) we brought a house at Golden Beach and just love the area .We have tried several times without success too catch fish we tried up and down the passage with several types of bait ETC without success there must be a certain time and sequence too successful fishing in this area some advice would be very welcome. We have 2 boats a 5.25 with 90hp and a 10ft tinny with a 15hp we both enjoy the relaxation of fishing but it would be nice too come home with something too eat... now and then,we released several small (undersize) fish we have good ethics and values and respect the guidelines and the law of estuary and outside water ways.
    Some advice would be appreciated
    Kind Regards...Dave and Sherrill

What size line and leader are you using Dave? Fish as light as possible. Nice area too. Try taking your tinny up Bells ck and hunt for some flathead. I've caught a few nice trevs in the area too. You also have access to yabby banks in the bells ck vicinity. I don't do any outside work, so can't offer you any advice there except buy some 7 inch nuclear chicken shads. Your bound to hook something.

Get some yabbies in Bell's then drift that big bank out the front of the Powerboat club on high tide. I usually manage a few lizards there. Have you taken the bigger boat outside. Early morning on the Gneerings is usually good for a few parrot.

watch out for the sand banks there is a lot of shallow water around coochin creek and hussy creek . but the fishing there is worth it.
