Geez you lose a lot of lures nugg!!!
Time to up the string me thinks.
yer jeff 4lb and jacks dont mix
figjam
JESUS!!!.....
Between you and Basskid you would be up to about $250 in lost lures....Time to UP the leaders I think boys.....Sure you wont get as many bream but at least when the cod, jacks and trevors smash those lures you have more of a chance....
Back to the shop for more lures.....

haha, its hard. you say jack and 4lb leader dont mix well eather does a little eco gear!
if you uprade your line you wont catch as many bream but you may catch a jack.
i cant help using 4 and 6lb leader
it must be good fun in the yak! i want 1
i dont have the yak any more so its all been landbased mate, i no that if i up leader i might have got that jack, but wheres the fun in skull draging a fish in hehe, i was only targeting bream so the jack was a saprise. i will up the leader when in going after the red fish, or if i no the trevs are around
figjam
I use 10lb as a general leader.
I dont really target bream though....so 10lb works well for me on flatties, trevs,Jacks, cod etc.........
But breamnut is right is saying the sx40's and small lures perform better with the lighter leaders.
Bit of a catch 22.....BUT it can be expensive.....

Upgrade the leader nugg. And everytime you would have bought a lure put that money away where the wife can't see it, you'll have enough for other goodies that way
