Sun. Brissie river bream.

Needed a few extra zzzzs this morning after the last weeks work load and a 9 am high looked good to have a quick session on the local bream.Arrived to showers of small baitfish and prawns and the silver flashes of bream harrassing them hard up against the rock walls.Lost a couple on the 4 bl leader but the rest were mainly 26 to 29 cms and were dead keen to hit the plastics.I was useing Squidgee wrigglers and critters in bloodworm and green on a 1/20 th jig.Would have been a cracker session to introduce some young kids to plastics, they couldn't miss.So it was me on my lonesome and no one else around. Forgot the airater so i was catching and releasing .Would have loved to keep them alive for a snap and then return them but i wont forget next time. Finished with 11 would be keepers, a few unders and one nice whiting that strayed in .Anyway it was a fix and I enjoyed myself So Merry Xmas to you all and thank you for the hours of enjoyment you have supplied to both me and Garrett and hope you all have a cracker New years.Cheers

Nice work Cheif, i have recently bought a pack of the Critters and cant wait to give em' a go on the bream with hidden weights. They do go hard on light line.

Hey chief, arother good read. You know the river like the back of your hand. My prob is i fish too many different spots. Fished the passage today, 6 good whiting, 1 grunter, 1 48 lizzard & 1 big tarwine. Was a good feed for my crowd. Hope to catch up one day. All the best for the xmas break.

A few nice healthy bream Chief.
I have to resort to reading the reports ATM as we have a new deckie on the way so i can't stray too far away.Was due on Sat.

Hi chief, nice catch, i used to have great resuts on bream using the culprit swim fin grub which you will find at bigw.

Chrisangler... You'll love the results of those critters mate. If you can make it to Cleveland for a fish on the train you'll have to get off a few stops earlier around Wynnum in the new year and I'll take you for a river session in the boat.
