I had a very busy 6 months or so with my wife giving birth to a baby boy and me starting a new job also so have done nil fishing.
However from next week I have 3 weeks off, and with my parents coming to stay I plan on fishing and then some more fishing.
Can anyone please give me an update on how the Northern Channel and the middle channel have been as of late. Has it changed much. I have crossed this bar alot in the past, however would just like a general update on its condition as I have not read much of it as of late.
I don't know the middle passage, but the Northern has been fine on the run up. We hit it one morning just before the bottom of the run out and predictably the pressure waves were standing up. One day coming it on the run out it was a real mess, but we've had no problems on the run up.
I thought if anybody should know the bar conditions of late it would be you two so thanks for the reply.
Yeah Rhys, I've been too quiet as of late, but am getting ready to release the beast within, just got back from the tackle shop and bought another TLD25 and a new overhead outfit for the old man when he gets here on the weekend, that should give him a decent outfit I reakon to tackle that "BIG" one.
