where abouts are you staying ? i would go a heavy spin outfit between 12-30lb main line , depending on where you are and about 20-30lb leader .

all depends on where u are...
if ur on the Gold Coast use 8lb-14lb fireline with 20lb leader and fish the bridges after dark. Livies or jigging plastics will work, just depends on what u like best.

mate i genrally run 30lb braid with 60lb flurocarbon leader especially n the baffle with the heavy structure if your using hardbodies go for the tilson barra, flats ratz, prawnstars, plastics probly go for slicrigs or 5 inch jerk shads. and good old bait just live or dead poddy mullet or mullet strips. good luck mate let us know how you went.

Mate you need to be a bit more specific on where your going to be fishing and if you leave it any later in the season your chances of getting a jack diminish with the cooler weather. They definitely bite a lot more during the hot weather.

Live mullet, wide gape hook under dorsal fin, hand on! If he takes you back into the snags, take the weight off the line. They usually come out again.
