A Fraser Island one about to go back. I don't know what size. 80 or 90 something? 6 inch alvey on a garry howard north shore surf rod. I know it's heaps smaller than the frames the old boys used to leave in urangan harbour when I was a kid that's for sure - the big girls don't get a chance to grow like that anymore.

Found this beast in the shallows near the boat ramp at Swansea NSW. Shame it wasn't alive and on the end of my line. Would have been an old fish, I'd say someone caught it and kept it out of the water too long

Caught a 131 cm monster many years ago at Stockton fairy wharf.
I was young and stupid took it home no pics as no camera. I had no idea it Sat in mums freezer for 11 years before finally being chucked
Mate my PB flattie was 131cm MONSTER caught near stockton ferry wharf in newcastle harbour, I let it go as it was obviously a female and no pics as i was only 9 or 10 at the time was b4 mobiles and too poor for a camera!!
Caught on pilchard cframe after the choppers had torn all the meat off.

No I took it home and lied so the wingers on here didn't start throwing rocks at my house.
