    Monduran day trip

    Hi Guys posting this for my mate geoff,
    hit the road early from burnett heads boat in the water and on there way to B , trolled for an hour or so no good so went on the cast for the rest of the time working there way a few corners up from B then casting at every great looking snag on there way back to the basin were they casted the points then resorted to trolling again for nothing. end result was one cat fish zero hits and zero barra but still a great but long day! i told him its because he didn't have me with him so he said well next time i have to drive the seven hours to meet him there for the day fish !!! dont temp me!!! i probley would if we had a bigger dog house here at home for me to sleep in when i got home!!!!

    Aahhh - the dreaded Monduran doughnut!

    Tell Geoff that we have all scored our fair share of those.

    They make the successful trips all the more rewarding.

      Yeah know how he feels' Iv'e had four trips up there in 2 months every fish we've boated has been by my deckies i feel like i should be charging a guiding fee. Lucky I only live in Bundy!!!! Just one more cast.

        Yeah thats is good old monduran drought!!! we all have them ! he didnt tell his wife but im sure he only brought his house and moved up to burnett just to be close to monduran!! he said after that last trip maybe i should of looked around gladstone !!!!

            Mum and I had a day at Monduran last month and caught three beautiful catfish.
            Trev mate what did you show my mum about baitcasters ? , she cast a daiwa millionaire now days and lands the lure about an inch and a half from the target.

              Monduran Shmonduran - did a day trip from Brissy about a month ago. Left at midnight and got back at midnight for a donut Unless I can count a catty! Will be back there this weekend, hopefully for 2 catties

                That is nice of you leaving the Barra alone, you keep practicing on our trout and let the rest of us worry about the Barra. See you Friday night at the pub.
