Pac Comp Braidbuster BSU 365-7w 3 piece

    Hi all.
I have just bought one of these 3 piece Braidbusters to make up as a 12' travelling surf/rock rod.
I'm hoping someone has made up/used one of these blanks, and can give me some info on how they perform, etc.
The ferrules are certainly solid, the top one is quite bulky looking, should be plenty strong however.
Any comments appreciated, any build-up tips? I will be hoping to use 7-8kg from the beach and 8-12kg from the rocks, would 12kg be too heavy?
The blank is fairly heavy at 558gms, so will be looking for a minimalist approach on grips, guides etc.
    Cheers.

    Thanks Ryan.
The ferrules on this blank are plenty solid, glad to hear I won't have to worry about them breaking under the loads I'm likely to put on it.
    Cheers.
