    Talking Tweed River

    hi
had an awesome day with a mate down the coast today and decided to fish the tweed with plastics and hardbodies and worked from anglers warehouse over to that really small creek over the bridge. first we started off flickeng 2" flickbaits in pumkinseed and after 30 minutes dylan hooked up to a 20 or so centimeter moses perch and decide to keep walking in search of a bream tried for some bream at the fish and chip shop for only a few dropped fish such as bream, whiting and flounder. then moved over to a small litlle jetty type thing near the traffic lights and dylan caught a 60cm flathead that weighed approximately 2 - 2.5 kilograms on a 2 inch pumkinseed flickbait. then moved to where boats were docked and i pulled out a nice flatty of 54cm and dylan pulled another 20cm moses perch so we moved over the bridge to where the tide runs strong and can often push you into the oyster covered rocks pulled up 2 more moses perch and 2 more flatty's so moved to the jetty for 1 undersized bream. so moved to the absolutely puny creek where i thought dylan was a dumb S#*t for even trying it we tried where the creek turns around the corner of the road and with the polerised there were tonnes of bream i pulled up 2 one 23 to the fork the other 21cm to the fork and dylan pulled one 25cm to the fork but i lost 12 bream around 25-30 cm fork length and dylan lost about 20 for the 30 mins to an hour we were there although i would not recommend eating those bream. well all in all an awesome day landbased with a mate, i hope you enjoy reading. soz no pics

    regards,
    keechie
