canopy or hard top

looking to tap into the collective wealth of knowledge on Ausfish. the old tubs canopy is showing it's age and needs replacing. it is a 4.8m half cab of the late 70's style at the moment it has a soft canopy that attaches to the wind screen and has a zipper section that you can stick your head through to look above the screen hight. the main disadvantage with the current set up is folding the top down to tow and then putting it back up at the ramp. ( i like to be quick at the ramp less conflict that way) am toying with the idea of a small hard top in ali or glass does any one have any tips or experience in this area or a soft top that can be towed at the speed limit.
