    HELP trasom weight

Can any one help me I'm thinking of buying a blue fin wildcat.

The thing is I'm not shore about the boat because they have no transom on the back which i want to put a 4ST.

Has any one had trouble with the weight sagging down the back.

    Any advice would be appreciated.

    Thanks mark

Ps any one got one 4 sale.

    Re: HELP trasom weight

You won't have any problems with a 4 stroke.

Mine has a 60hp Mercury 4 stroke and there is no issue with rear end weight. The boat is plenty stable enough even with 2 people standing on the rear deck. The 60Hp is a good match.

    Re: HELP trasom weight

I am not sure but i would check on how much you can put on the back as i have a bluefin predator the bigger version of the wildcat and its only rated to 60hp so i would check the bluefin web site or even the compliance plate in the boat ....matt

I just checked the site 60hp seems ok but not sure about the weight ...matt

    Re: HELP trasom weight

    Mark,

It does around 55 klms/hr with the standard prop and 2 people.

If you are thinking of one with a 4 stroke I would suggest a 60.

    Regards Cameron.
