Re: My Missus Is The Best
BAM MARTY & JOJO I couldnt agree more on the Bluefin MJ my mate bought one about 5mths ago and its a great little boat.I spoke with MR T'S tinnies yesterday and a basic mj is $18200 no lights no live well no sounder. My mate paid just under 16000 for his with everything inc GPS. why the price hike? I did only speak with them on the phone so maybe in person with a fist full of cash might get me more for less if you know what I meen. Might do the long haul to capalaba today as I only visited Redcliffe area yesterday.....CHEERS BRENDAN.....

Have a look at a runabout design, your gonna want a windscreen if you go outside. I prefer an open boat/side console for rivers so I can use an electric bow mount motor. Thats the first decision, bow mount or windscreen?
The next part is aluminium or fibreglass? I prefer ally cos its easier to handle by yourself at the boatramp.
Whatever you do, do it quickly. The missus might change her mind and want a new car.

Hi Guys
My lovely wife bought me a boat for my last birthday. I was very happy when I got the card that gave me the go ahead. Since we have got the boat we have had some great times as a family. It is all Good!!!!

Re: My Missus Is The Best
Gecko I only just bought her a new car about 6mnths ago and it cost more than my boat will. Also i don't want a runabout as most of my fishing will be in the rivers and bay with only the occasional trip outside. I will be looking to add a bow mount to the boat so definately tiller or side console as I mainly fish placcies and lures.

Re: My Missus Is The Best
sorry but if you can't make decisions on your own then your not a real man...Having said this, i don't have a better half, so I'm not sure how it works in your situation
My advice would be get a quality reliable motor (i.e. yamaha or merc)
Good fishin,
SS
