etec and iridium plugs

m8 has informed me that o8 mdels will come standard with iridium twin electrode spark plugs to eliminate slow speed misfire. not that it is a problem , its just that brp likes to have everything perfect. lmao

DBL, saw the blurb about it . Wonder if we can upgrade to those ourselves. been running those in our cars for a while and they seem pretty good.
Good to see they are also setting up all the models to accept the i-command interface. Nothing better than having an idea of your fuel flow to keep from running out.

i dont think there would be any problems with fitting yourself, i will hav a set in mine within the next 2-3weeks, will let you know how they go? cost is 37 dollars each so around 100 dollars, sweet,,,

I too have a 90 E-tec with 24 hrs which has never missed a beat except for last weekend when for the first time it misfired maybe 6 times all day at low speed ,like you said its not a problem, but just after being so perfect all this time. it made my ears prick up.

Would be interested in these new plugs also so will be waiting for your feedback.
