I hit the river & Mud Island for the first time in months this morning and noticed all the changers at the ramp. Was wondering if any Ausfishers knew what's about to be constructed there?
BTW, we caught bugger all but it's always a good day out on the water.
Cheers
Mike
i,ve been wondering the same thing as well. whats all those parts for in that yard thats fenced off next to the car park? look like piping to me, i was thinking upgrades to sewage pipes maybe?
You could be right boys, lots of pipes. I was hoping it could be for some sort of dredging and a new enclosed boat ramp that's out of the current, like Clontarf.
Won't hold my breath though. That ramp has to be the worst in SEQ.
Cheers
Mike
I'd say something to do with the Water treatment facility that's under construction from the Luggage Point Sewer Works. They will be feeding (selling) business' treated water for manufacturing process' instead of dam (as in lake) water.

$50 million for water lovers.
A $50 million State Government boating infrastructure boost will support Queensland’s buoyant love affair with the water.
Minister for Transport and Main Roads, Paul Lucas, said a water focussed strategy over the next two years will deliver new and upgraded boat ramps, pontoons and the continuation of long-term dredging strategies.
“At work or at play, Queenslanders love the water,” Mr Lucas said.
