HELP- yammie control box & gauges

    Hello,
I'm doing a conversion on my boat from a tiller to a small centre console and require a Yamaha control box, trim gauge and tacho.
The outboard is a 2002 F50 Yamaha 4 stroke, carby model.
I currently have the long tiller arm with the electric start, trim and tilt which has to go and the harness will plug directly into where the control box goes. I reckon I could find a home for this if someone wanted to upgrade there tiller arm. I think these tiller arms are expensive new too from what I have been told.
However, tracking down a second hand control box etc is proving a little tricky. I can buy plenty of new ones, but aren't they dear.
Any tips, help or if you have some at home or know a mate who does, please let me know.

tried the wreckers?? there is a really good one in NSW that will post to you, I have got some bits and pieces from them over the years and they seem to be good and the price is OK, look up Arizona Outboard Wreckers in Charmhaven.

Yeah they are dear, here might help, they are very honest but expect up to 15 days to your doorstep from order date as they will source the parts themselves first I suspect.

I set a CC up and refubished an outboard not long ago and used this mob for many of my genuine Yam bits and pieces. What is not listed is still sold if you email them.

Thanks guys. I have ordered the bits from Noels lead, and the parcel will be despatched this afternoon.
The only tricky bit was if the 703 control box was a pull or push type, it is a push to open type.
Only have to get the steering and then start the assembly process.

Sure do know there stuff. I went to make an addition to the order and it was already despatched and the original order was only placed a couple of hours previously.
