My 69cm PB snap!
Dont know if you all view the offshore reports so thought i'd post some pics of the charter a mate (sweresy) and i went on with 'Smithy' on sunday.
Awesome day and my 10lb bay gear got a real work out with plenty of bust offs.
Upped my PB snap to 69cm and got smoked by some real monsters.
Boated 30+ fish and were throwing back 50cm + models at the end of the day.
Sweresy got a nice eating size cobe and some fiesty lil bonito as well. His screaming certate indicated that some of our bust offs where very big fish.
All fish were caught on plastics. Gulp minnows, jerk shads, powerbaits and flick baits.

Re: My 69cm PB snap!
Mate the first few fish in the boat were on nuc chooks (cant deny it, they work and sweresy who has sworn off them until now even went and bought some yesterday i think), also blue pepper neon and lime tiger gulps, squidgy flick baits in pillie and the clear ones with a blue glitter and a few other colours and powerbaits in smelt and pumpinseed scales.
The bite was that hot that almost anything we dropped was getting hit.
With 30+ fish in the boat and 10+ that smoked us we went through a lot of plastics.

Robert Smith ('Smithy' ausfish sponsor/advertiser) of SQCS. If you look in the Offshore reports section you'll find his recent reports and contact info.
Top bloke and excellent personalised service. Max. 3 people. He's getting some real good results at the moment too.

That certainely sounded like a good day boys. Some good size knobby,s there to. My PB is 68 and that fought like a train on plastics and fine line(did you say yours was on 10 pound ?)The smiles on your faces says it all. PS Do they pull harder when they are straight down ? Mine was only in 17 feet of water and heading for the shallows and hard to pull up once in the shallows.

Yeah DDobson, 10lb gear and a 3-6kg dropshot.
Was a good 6-8 minute fight. The first minute was the hardest. He didn't want to leave his friends. Plenty of tense moments, when i thought he had nothing left he would fire back up and take 10m back off me over and over.

Congrats on th PB snap. Sounds like it was a hot session, sure you lost a few plastics but with a haul like that you cant complain.
Cheers Chris
