Mud Island Pearl Farm

I went to Mud Island today for the first time in many, many months and was surprised to see no trace of the pearl farm that was on the western side.

When did that go?

Its been goone for sometime now, thinks there's only two or three buoys left, i used to use some of the buoys as a guide to finding a few spots, and at night authought a bit hazardous to navigate, they let you knew exactly where you where when you came across them.
havent seen the barge out there for sometime either, maybe gave up the idea.

There may have been one or two buoys but if so they don't stand out like they orange ones used to. Did not see the sign there either.

They have either plucked all of the pearls or it was an entrepreneurial dream gone sour.

I used to catch a few squire around there but nothing to write home about.
