    first toga

    Headed up to borumba on the weekend for some fishing skiing and a general piss up.My aim on this trip was to catch a toga.Was on the dam by 430 saturday morning and headed up yabba creek.Cast for an hour for one little yella then my mate says cast at that stump i saw a swirl.I cast and as soon as my spinnerbait hit the water BAM this thing smashed me.He jumped clear of the water twice and by the time i got him in my legs where shaking. He went 75cm and was one of the most spectacular fish i have ever seen.
    Met leigh77 up there and as you can see with his report the fish where on.Nice to meet you mate good luck with the bambino.

    Top fish mate, i was there sat. We hooked a heap of togas only landed 4. SB in white is the norm but a black with specks of red and white was un beatable .togas, Bass to 42cm and some nice yellas.Dont really know if its the colour that works or just right spot ,right time and being persistant. Though funny how often you change colours and a couple of casts and you're on.

    I said it then, but I'll say it again...Top effort on the Toga Tangles. I can just see the headline in the paper as "Tangles tangles with a Toga". lol

    Well done Tangles, Great photo - you sure look happy! I've caught a few toga's but none near that size. You won't stop thinking about them now!

    top fish mate. Couple weeks ago i got a 74 up the same creek so there is a few up there. Looks like a top day for it.
